Study and Design
Understanding today’s utility systems. Planning for tomorrow’s demand. A campuswide assessment and schematic design for the San Juan VA Medical Center.
San Juan, Puerto Rico / U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Utility Assessment · Schematic Design
Assessing infrastructure.
Planning for future demand.
Lógos supported a comprehensive study of the condition and capacity of the San Juan VAMC’s sanitary and storm sewer systems across its entire 65-acre campus.
The evaluation focused on identifying deficiencies and noncompliance, recommending corrective measures, bringing systems up to current standards, and planning capacity for future demand. A coordinated 15% schematic design translated the assessment into drawings, technical specifications, cut sheets, and cost estimates.
The scope combined survey and LiDAR drone scanning, sanitary and storm sewer assessments, hydrological study, and civil engineering to identify deficiencies and evaluate future capacity. A 15% schematic design documented corrective measures through drawings, technical specifications, cut sheets, and cost estimates.
